In short: the software runs on your own computer, this service looks after your account and your plan, and you can cancel or delete either whenever you like. The sections below are the agreement itself — the summary does not replace them.
Agent Remote is operated by HDT Software Services. Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record.
1. The service
Agent Remote is two things. The software runs on your own computer and does the work. This service holds your account, your workspace and your plan, and tells the software what your plan allows. We do not run your agents, and your terminal never passes through us.
2. Accounts
Keep your password to yourself: anything done with your account is treated as done by you. Give us accurate details, and tell us if something looks wrong. You can delete the account whenever you want, from your account settings, and that deletion is real.
3. Subscriptions & billing
A paid plan renews until you cancel it. Subscriptions bought on this website are sold through Paddle.com Market Ltd, our merchant of record. That means Paddle, not us, is the seller: Paddle issues your invoice and collects any VAT or sales tax due where you live, and your purchase contract for the subscription is with them. Charges appear on your card statement as PADDLE.NET* HDTSOFT.
Changing your plan. A change to your plan or billing period takes effect straight away. Moving up is charged today for the difference. Moving down, or from yearly to monthly, ends the higher plan straight away and turns the unused part into credit for your later bills, not a refund to your card. Changing between monthly and yearly restarts your billing date and ends a launch price. The full rules, with an example, are in Changing your plan.
Cancelling and refunds. Cancel a subscription bought on this website whenever you like, from the billing page in your account. You keep what you have paid for until the end of that period, and nothing else is charged. A yearly plan can be refunded in full within 7 days of the first payment and of each yearly renewal. Monthly payments are not refunded, because the free trial is there to try the plan first. A billing mistake is always refunded. The refund policy has the details. Because Paddle is the seller, refunds and chargebacks also follow Paddle's buyer terms; you can ask us or ask Paddle directly, whichever you prefer — and nothing here takes away a statutory right you have where you live.
Subscriptions bought in the App Store. A subscription bought inside the Agent Remote app is sold by Apple, not by Paddle or by us, and Apple's terms for App Store purchases apply to it. Apple charges it to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase, and it renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off automatic renewal at least 24 hours before the period ends. You manage it, turn off automatic renewal or cancel it in your Apple ID account settings, not on our billing page. Refunds for it are asked for from Apple, and Apple decides them; we cannot refund an App Store purchase ourselves. The plan it pays for is the same plan sold on this website, with the same features and limits.
4. Acceptable use
The software runs commands on your computer because you told it to. What those commands do, and who can reach the computer they run on, is yours to decide and yours to be responsible for. Please do not use the service to break the law.
5. Disclaimer & liability
We work hard to keep this running, but the service is provided "as is", without warranties. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for what software does on your own computers — including an agent you started through this app.
6. Changes
These terms may change. If a change matters to you, we will tell account holders rather than quietly reprinting the page, and the date at the top always says when it last moved.
7. Contact
Email us at [email protected]. You can also file a case from the desktop app: it reaches us with the diagnostics already attached, which often gets you an answer faster than an email thread would.
